Queen Mira International School created an exceptional platform for the toddlers in and around the Temple City on the 18th of November, 2017. Following the successful stride, The Little Emperors(TLE)- an interschool event exclusively for the kindergarteners was conducted with grandeur for the 3rd consecutive year which was witnessed by the overwhelming participation of 90 schools including a participant from St.Nicholas Church Pre School, London.

The tiny tots marched in with confidence onto the red carpet with gleaming eyes and a winning heart. The event started with an invocation to the Almighty, followed by the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the TLE – Season 2 winning school Principals and the stakeholders. With a theme “Save Water” - the nine assorted competitions were conducted under three categories – dew, drizzle and downpour for the graders PreKG , KGI and KGII respectively. The valiant emperors displayed their talents in an outstanding manner in the respective venues named with the Indian rivers. The highlight of TLE – Season 3 was the participation of children from YMCA Kamak School for Deaf in the competitions and their splendid special performance during the valedictory function. It was definitely a time to chill, to cheer, to inspire and to be inspired.

The participants, teachers, parents were all excited and eagerly awaited the momentous award ceremony. All the participants were appreciated for their interest and zest. Accolades were provided for the meritorious performances.The winners were presented with trophies, certificates, medals and also cash award of Rs.25,000 for the first place, Rs.15000 for the second place and Rs.10,000 for the third place. The overall first place was bagged by Bodhi Kids International School, Theni followed by N.R.M Nursery & Primary School and Velammal Vidhyalaya School ,Viraganoor in second place and the third place was taken away bySt.Michael’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School . Chairman Dr.Chandran honoured the winners of the events in the presence of Director Mr.Abinath Chandran and Principal Ms.Sujatha Guptan.

The Little Emperors – Season 3 team , with a high sense of gratitude expressed its appreciations and best wishes to all the participants.
