Visit of Nobel Laureate Prof,Nicole Ostrowsky
The Lycee Francais de Puducherry (Section of Excellence in Science) in collaboration with Queen Mira International School conducted the 2nd edition of the National Prize for the Apprentice Scientist program on the 27th November 2013.Grade VIII students from the following schools in Madurai, Sivagangai and Dindigul participated with great vigour.
Each Team comprising of five members demonstrated and explained the experiments to Nicole Ostrowsky, who is a physicist and Professor Emeritus from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis.
Visit to Malaysia – a Student Exchange Program Initiative

A team of 18 students, Staff and members of Management and Advisory board were on an experiential five days trip to Malaysia on 12th April 2014. With all the blessings of the Almighty and the wishes of all benevolent people, the initiative for the Student Exchange Program (SEP) had began with this visit. Our meeting with Datuk M.Saravanan, Deputy Minister for Sports and Youth Welfare was very purposeful and it laid a strong foundation for a sustained relationship for the years to come.

QMIS always takes initiatives and utmost efforts to open best platforms for students, going More and Beyond. One such initiative is opening a platform for Master Vijay Adith of grade VII, a young aspirant of our school with the dream to represent our Nation in 2020 Olympics in Badminton. As a primary accomplishment on having a tie up with the BJSS for Student Exchange Programme, Master. Vijay Adith was sent for a month long training and this epoch turned out to be a rewarding one for him as he was given training by eminent coaches and was able to meet one of his inspirations, Lee Chong Wei.
