GRADE-1 VISIT TO THE SUPER MARKET
Happiness is shopping with friends
Young or old, people always enjoy shopping. To enjoy independency in shopping
we QMIS decided to take the grade1 and 2 children to Reliance Super Market on 26th of November
This was to make the children understand the value of money and to purchase what they like. The journey started sharp at 10.30 am. On the way the children were so excited and were with different queries as to what they can buy from the money brought?, Will the shopkeeper help them in buying the things? etc.
Exactly at 11.00 am they reached the Reliance super market and our children as usual wished everybody inside the market. They were introduced to new vocabulary such as -groceries, toiletries, stationeries, Vegetables and fruits.
Here the children were educated on the money value. They were also taught that under one roof they can get all the essential commodities. .
As they were exploring the market they were also interacting with the shopkeepers and enjoyed their shopping. Children purchased what they wanted by carefully counting how much they had in hand and paid the amount in the counter extending the exact change.
Now it was time for the children to say bye to the uncles and aunts who helped them. On their way back our little darlings were sharing their experiences with each other and proudly showing their belongings which they had purchased independently.
So now the children came to know about the value of money and how they can efficiently shop with the money they have in hand.
