Children of Grades 10 to 12 attended the Path session held on 02.08.17 at the Music Studio. The guest speaker of the day was Mr. A. Mayil Vaganan, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Madurai District. There was an air of excitement in the room as Mr. Mayil Vaganan shared his experiences and valuable thoughts. He encouraged the children to identify their goals and focus on it. He insisted on the need to set one’s goal and communicate the same to parents. He shared with the children the need to maintain a positive attitude, upgrade their knowledge and skills and confront challenges and fears. He was totally realistic and encouraged the children to faces obstacles as challenges. Children posed many interesting questions to him. He answered them patiently and positively. The floor was bubbling with Positive energy. The session was truly an inspiring one.

“Coffee evening” is yet another initiative taken by the QMIS Management to create awareness on Child Safety. Parents of Graders Pre - kg to 5 were invited to attend the session. The session commenced at 04.30 pm on 02.08.17 (Wednesday).

The guest speaker of the day was Mr. A. Mayil Vaganan, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Madurai District.

He talked about how good parenting plays a vital role in the life of a child. Good Parenting happens when a person creates for a child a stable, nurturing home environment and plays a positive and active part in a child’s life. He discussed on how Parenting is hard work, and also the things one can do to maintain a good connection with children and insisted on keeping the lines of communication open. He also talked to the parents about the need to spend quality time with them. He shared on the need to equip their skills and resources to succeed as adults and the need to transmit good values to them. He also shared his personal experiences which made the session a lively one.

Ms. Sujatha Guptan addressed the gathering on the importance of Parent ID card and Schooler Mobile App usage. It was thoroughly an informative session and eye opener for all.
