Children's Day Celebration
" The greatest gifts you can give your children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence." - Denis Waitley
Children are loved by one and all. They win over our hearts with their innocent eyes and angelic smiles. Children's Day is celebrated on 20th November, Universally, but in our Nation we celebrate Children’s Day as a tribute to Chacha Nehru and his love for children, on his birth date i.e on November 14th. This day reminds us, to refurbish our commitment to the welfare of children and to teach them to follow the treads Chacha Nehru. Our celebration was filled up with an assortment of activities. These activities were planned not just with the objective of amusing children but also to nurture the various skills like their concentration, determination, confidence, competence and their physical stamina. We welcomed our kids specially with flowers on their day. As rightly said by Chacha Nehru that the future lies in the shoulders of responsible younger generation - Our children's day celebration was designed in such a way to strengthen these shoulders in all possible ways. The activities were based on their physical, linguistic, creative skills and also packed with fun. The talents show of graders 1 to 7 was a platform to display their special area of performance art. The talk show pulsated every one’s heart and was feeding every child enough to speak about as the topic chosen was very much closer to their heart – “Should schools have exams and grading system”. The art from waste, vegetable carving, cooking without flame and poster painting portrayed the aesthetic sense of the children. Every nook of the QMIS campus was reverberating the merriment of the tiny tots on this day. No doubt that the closing ceremony brought an end only to the celebration but not to the delight and the elation of the children.
" We hold the future, we seek the change and we can make it happen." " We celebrate the beaming lights - our students at QMIS"
