Star Gazing Show
"In the course of epic events, Space is housed with the products of radiant energy from Big Bang, segregated into galaxies, collapsed into stars, fused into atoms, swirled into planets, spliced into molecules, captured into cells, mutated into species, compromised into thought, and cajoled into cultures. All of this (and much more) is what matter has done as systems upon systems of organization have emerged over thirteen billion years of creative natural history." All that has been known about its Mystery is just a negligible little.
QMIS- a home for innovative motivation hosted a Star Gazing Show for the teachers on the eve before Teacher’s Day. The programme started with the brain storming session by Mr. Vijayan, the Star Gazer who educated us on the basic astronomical facts. With all lot of hopes we awaited for the clouds to clear off and enable the Show, hoping to view the Planets Mars and Saturn, Moon, a few Stars, Clusters, a few Constellations and the Milky Way, we all gathered in the open terrace. With a cloudy white sky we were able to watch only the outer space of the Moon through the telescope. We witnessed the beautiful craters made by asteroid hits with its amazing shadows cast on one side. Along with this the unclear sky also gave us the view of the Star Vega , the fifth brightest star it is a relatively close star at only 25 light-years from Earth, and, together with Arcturus and Sirius, one of the most luminous stars in the Sun's neighborhood.
