Wild Animal’s Day
The wild life and its habitat cannot speak. So we must and we will….
Wild Animal’s Day, celebrated on 18th of September was an opportunity for students of KG-2 to rejoice the many beautiful and varied forms of wild fauna and flora and to raise awareness of the multitude benefits of conservation.
At the same time, the Day reminded children of the urgent need to step up the fight for conservation for wildlife, which has wide-ranging economic, environmental and social impacts.
The activity helped in introducing the different wild animals in the nation with few minutes demonstration and speech of the same. The students dressed themselves with a mask of wild animal of their choice.
Wildlife has an intrinsic value and contributes to the ecological, genetic, social, economic, scientific, educational, cultural, recreational and aesthetic aspects of sustainable development and human well-being.
All graders were invited to observe and to get involved in the celebration of wildlife to create awareness for wild life protection and conservation of forest as their shelter.
